WHAT WE DO...
Quilted Blessings is a ministry of the church where members and friends create one-of-a-kind quilts for those in need. Our quilts are distributed locally to seniors, shelters, hospice, pediatric wards and veterans. Our quilts have made their way to countries around the world including Afghanistan, Iraq, Mexico, Uganda, Kenya, Bolivia and Peru. Locally our quilts have made their way to victims of Hurricane Katrina, California fire victims and tornadoes in the Midwest.
HOW WE STARTED...
Would-be quilters first met in the spring of 2004. Those of us starting up the ministry did not have much experience quilting but word of our ministry grew and we were joined by experienced quilters from the greater community and we learned from one another and continue to learn to this day.

WHEN WE MEET...
Quilted Blessings meets on a Monday and Tuesday 8-10 times a year at the church and holds occasional workshops on Saturdays.
Anyone who is interested in quilting is encouraged to join us regardless of sewing skill level. If you need a sewing machine for a workshop, we can arrange for one. Fabric and other supplies are provided.
If you would like to be added to the Quilted Blessings email blasts to get connected, please contact our coordinator, Sharon Havranek.
