Every Sunday includes a special Children’s Moment, where kids are invited forward for a brief, age-appropriate message before the sermon. After the Children’s Moment, kindergarten through 5th graders are invited to head to Godly Play, led by our dedicated volunteer Sunday School teachers and background-checked shepherds.

Godly Play is a Montessori-inspired, story-based approach to Christian faith formation that invites children to wonder, explore, and make meaning of their faith in a safe and nurturing environment. Developed by Episcopal priest Jerome Berryman, Godly Play has been widely embraced by congregations across the United Church of Christ, reflecting the UCC’s commitment to honoring children’s spiritual lives, curiosity, and questions. Through sacred stories, parables, and liturgical lessons, children learn that their voices and experiences matter and that God meets them right where they are.
